At the film launch ceremony held at Hanoi Radio and Television Station on September 6, the story and visuals of the film “Trang An Firewall” were introduced along with the production team. Hanoi police officers, representatives of city police departments and offices, TV station executives, and artists and actors appearing in the film were in attendance.
The first series on online fraud
“Trang An Firewall” marks another milestone for Hanoi Radio and Television in producing high-quality television dramas that address hot topics in contemporary society.
Produced by the Investment Station and the first feature-length film in Vietnam to feature online fraud, the film, which will run for 40-45 episodes, is based on a true story and depicts the People’s Security Forces’ crackdown on cryptocurrency crime. Notably, this cryptocurrency crime case was cracked down on by the capital police in late 2024, generating hundreds of billions of VND in profits.
Representatives and heads of specialized units of the Hanoi Police Department, as well as artists, attended the introduction and launch ceremony of the film “Trang An Firewall.”
According to screenwriter Vu Liem, the film’s script is based on real-life events and adds cinematic moments to the climax. This exposes the sophisticated tactics of high-tech criminals, including investment fraud, money laundering, and system manipulation. The Mr. Phipps case, which caused a major stir in 2024, is a prime example.
With meticulous scripting and attention to detail, the film constantly presents situations, twists, and climaxes, immersing the audience in countless surprises. This captivating narrative showcases a breathtaking intellectual battle between the police and a high-tech criminal organization, as well as a series of realistically choreographed chases and confrontations.
Representatives from the Hanoi City Police presented flowers to the Hanoi Radio and Television Station, which produced the film, as a congratulatory gesture.
By delving into the thrilling subject of criminal investigations while simultaneously addressing the social challenges of the digital age, “Trang An Firewall” presents a new way to utilize cyberspace in a contemporary context, inspiring audiences to simultaneously experience excitement and caution regarding the cyberspace of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This work commemorates the bravery of the People’s Security Forces, including the capital’s Public Security Department, in the areas of propaganda, education, and especially the bravery of the People’s Security Forces.
